Hi, I’m Dan Tombs.
I have been working within the Atlassian Ecosystem for the last 9 years. My career has seen me work both as a consultant and as an admin for Atlassian customers. My time as a Consultant gave me many opportunities to see how a wide variety of organisations use Atlassian software over a number of industries allowing me to bring the best of breed solutions to the challenges seen with our line of work. Now my work is far more focused, giving me the opportunity to dedicate my time and resources to seeing all projects through and advising my companies on any challenge at any moment.
As of June 2023, I have become a community leader for the Solent region of the UK by volunteering personal time to bring local users closer to Atlassian and help everyone benefit from the community experience. As of June 2024, I have also become an Atlassian Content Creator allowing me to continue helping all Atlassian enthusiasts with news & functionality posts.
Certified with ACP-200, 400, 610 & 620, my specialities lie within Jira Service Management, Confluence & Jira Software. ITIL V4 qualification & scrum master certifications give me a chance to provide both framework and application advice to help find the best fit for you.
Jira Software is still a large part of any Atlassian admin’s work. Having had experience as a scrum master and as an agile lead, and having facilitated large scale agile rollouts within companies, I can provide previous experience and suggestions to the adoption and improvement of a team’s productivity and efficiency when it comes to delivering work.

It is our job to guide those ideas, by building the applications to complement and enhance the concept, not to have the application hinder the art of the possible.

We now have the opportunity to bring the magic to life. Using the plain English requirements, my Atlassian experience, and your team’s company knowledge, we ensure your team’s ideas are brought to fruition through any service offering.
Maintain IT
One of the biggest concerns after any project build, is the maintenance. Who will make the small tweaks as needed? Who makes sure technical debt is minimised?
I will work with your team to not only make sure they are self sufficient but also ensure no additional technical debt is created.
